Yes, it is almost certainly the best cheese shop in the area. But you need to have a bit of time... for the queues.

I love this store. It's 3 feet from where I live in the antique quartier in Grenoble. They have everything you need for aperos, charcuteries, cheese, wine, The staff are friendly and helpful, you'll find lots of locals here. The hours are very convenient, they open early in the morning for breakfast :) or if you want to take some treats to share with your work colleagues.

For cheese lovers, amateurs and also viewers and ethno-socio scientists
Well worth a visit - avoid 23 and 30 december although queuing gives time
to enjoy encyclopedic display of cheese varieties

Note: other excellent cheese shop in Rue Bayard and on local markets to be visited

Great Variety

The selection of cheeses was almost overwhelming but in a delicious sort of way. Shop keepers were happy and there was a small group of locals shopping! You can also get charcuterie and a small selection of wines. Perfect stop to pick a picnic!

Fantastic cheese shop. A must visit anytime you're in Grenoble.

The best époisses I've ever had (and I've searched far and wide). They've also introduced me to some amazing new favorites that I've never found anywhere else. Why is is so hard to find blue chèvre? I don't live in Grenoble, but they have been kind enough to help vacuum pack cheese assortments for the long plane ride home. I can't wait to visit them again... luckily very soon!
