Hard to find a better view in the world! The site is well organized although I would avoid a peak times.

We stayed with a chalet company called Valley Fever in Chamonix and they recommended that we go to visit the Aiguille du Midi for a half day one afternoon. It was amazing and we recommend it highly. The second cable car to the top is...More
It's not defibitely the cheapest cable car ever, but probably the most exciting one. We went there on Sunday morning, about at 8.30am, and we were able to buy tickets without queuing. We didn't fit in the next cable car, so we waited 15mins. Aiguille...More

This was definitely the highlight of our Chamonix trip. The views from the top are just 'out of this world' - breathtaking! Those sensitive to high altitudes are not recommended to go to the very top ~3800m though. There are a couple of viewing platforms...More
