A short walk from the old town, up a fairly steep road, and then either up quite a few steps - or you can walk around the road if you wish to avoid them. An impressive building outside and inside too. Theres a nice little...More

A few blocks away from the historical centre of Annecy. It's neoromanic, so comparing to real romanic churches of the area this one does not make a great atraction.

Looks better from a distance. You can only see the front part of the church & inside. There is no access to view the lake. A long walk for very little.

The outer structure is magnificent and worth taking a while just to admire. The interior is not quite as impressive, but the stained glass is marvelous. After the hike up the very steep hill, this feels like the church at the top of the world.

The building itself is worth one picture. The inside is rather empty. The view is not so great, there are better ones from other places. I cannot recommend this place.

This church is very pretty but it is such a trek to get to from the bottom. It's slightly more modern that others i've seen. The view makes everything worth it though. You can see over all of Anncey.

Quite a trek up the hill to the Basilique but worth the effort. Wonderfully decorated with huge stained glass windows. Fantastic views over the lake - slightly spoilt when we visited by a myriad of cranes Involved in building work below, but pick your shot...More
