Interesting information but little much else
Sep. 2019
This was said to be the birth place of the famous prophet Nostradamus. It has a plaque on the wall, but the place is said to be used now as a bed and breakfast place. Just an interesting fact but not much else

Interesting landmark
Aug. 2018 • Family
Very interesting landmark as it is the birthplace of one of the most intriguing men in history. The building is relatively well preserved and is located in a nice street.

Historical place
Dec. 2017 • Couples
We were walking around and we saw the place. You cannot enter and finally you take some photos and that's all.

Bit disappointing
Dec. 2017 • Couples
You would pass the building by if you weren't looking for it. The entrance foyer is nice enough. There are 10 areas which are supposed to depict various stages of the life of Nostradamus. You have to use your imagination, because basically, the recorded voice in each area could be reading from a book. The lighting in each scene is erratic and badly timed to coincide with the narrative. The projected portraits shown against the walls, are off centre and in many cases out of focus. The wax characters may have one or two props or bits of furniture alongside, but they are sparce add nothing to the scene.
Make sure you have a warm coat; On one level it was colder than outside! I do not feel that children will be attracted to this, as there is nothing for them to do or to encourage them to do anything. The area depicting a planetary scene is lo-key and boring.
I really wanted to say something positive about this place and I do give objective reviews usually, but the persons organising this attraction, really need to rethink this.

Nice to see
Jul. 2017 • Couples
Nothing special about the architecture, but it age and the fact that it is the birth place of Nostradamus make it a must see. On the other hnd, it is only his birth place, since he wrote all his Prophecies in Salon de Provence where he later lived.

House of Nostradamus
Jul. 2016 • Couples
Unfortunately, just a plaque which indicates "here was born and lived". But still interesting to look at and make a short stop. St Remy is adorable town and this is one of remarquable place. Closed to Fontaine of Nostradamus and if you have extra 20 minutes, go there and your "Nostradamus steps" will be complete. Why they don't want to do a museum of this famous men? Probably then they will not be able to accommodate all those wishing to visit the museum.

What might the future bring
Jun. 2016 • Couples
A plaque on the front of the building is interesting but if one, like Nostradamus, could foresee the future, we might see someone turn this into a real museum of his life and times. I hope so.

Nothing to visit
Oct. 2014 • Couples
Only a plate on a facade of a very common building completely restored remembers the Birth place of Nostradamus. Nothing else.

Don't visit St Remy just to see this!
Sep. 2014 • Couples
If you happen to be in St Remy, it is interesting to see this landmark of such a world famous man. But it is disappointing that it is nothing more than a very modest house facade.
