It was intense, demanding, sometimes difficult but also fun and so productive. After studying for several years a language that I love and still not been able to have a basic conversation, it was pretty frustrating. Four weeks at the Institut de Francais in Villefranche,...More

Hello there. Has anyone had experiences studying at other French language schools in Provence / Cote d'Azur? If so, how would you compare those schools to the Institut de Francais? I am 43-year old American who is serious about learning French. I have been studying at the Alliance Francaise in NYC for the past year and would like to strengthen my speaking skills. So far, my studies there have emphasized grammar and precision over organic conversation. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
