It’s a very nice and small art museum. Great pieces of impressionists and expressionists, all linked to Cote d’Azur. Not too expensive. So recommend you visit. 30min sufficient unless you are an art fanatic.

This fine museum has many of the works of artists who came to St. Tropez in early 1900’s. Of course perhaps the most famous is Henri Matisse and many of his works are here. Lot’s of emphasis on the female body.

One of the things I love about the Riviera and Provence in general is the art history. For those who enjoy 20th C art, this is worth a stop. It is a converted chapel on the waterfront. There are some late impressionist paintings as well...More

I had quite high expectations of this place having seen a rave report on French TV. But I'm afraid I only found it mildly interesting and struggled to find more than a handful of paintings which I could get excited about. Of course it is...More

Delightful use of the former chapel, although only small there is an upstairs space as well so there are many stunning pieces of art including fauvist works to admire. The small shop selling books and postcards is excellent too. Definitely worth a visit, the highlight...More
