What a surprising little museum sitting in a former Gendarmerie. We could not understand in advance why any museum would commemorate two such disparate subjects.....now we know!! Le Gendarmerie is a set of 6 films probably in the same genre as British "Carry On" films...More

Place is outstandig for all Louis de Funes fans and french movies all together. Price for ticket is dirt cheap. Must see

We really liked this museum, it is very well laid out and has lots of surprises which entertain adults and children alike. It has plenty of good translations so whilst it clearly appeals hugely to the French there is the opportunity for others to learn...More

Louis and Bridgitte in the same place :))) chilhood memories, lots of fun, history of "Les jandarmes", old cars, motorbike, ... It is a must see in Saint Tropez
