Founded in 2003, Les Petits Farcis is the only cooking school in Nice that caters specifically to visitors with classes in English and a fully bilingual staff. Food writer and cookbook author Rosa Jackson has lived in France since 1995 and studied at the Cordon Bleu before creating her market tour company Edible Paris and opening her Nice cooking school Les Petits Farcis. Programs include the Market tour, Cooking Class and Lunch, the Private Nice Street Food Tour, Provençal Macarons, the Choux Pastry Masterclass, and Vegetarian and Organic cooking.

Market tours take place at the famous Cours Saleya market, and Rosa's custom-designed Old Town space gives you an authentic taste of life in Nice.

We booked a cooking class with Rosa as something different to do in Nice. What a great idea! She is clearly passionate about what she does, and an excellent chef. Overall - a great experience. The food was delicious and we stepped away feeling inspired with new French recipes and great tips to dabble with. Would definitely recommend it!

Glancing at the last couple of reviews, I'm pretty sure my husband and I were in the same class as the previous reviewer (hi there, 1CAtravel!) who has summarised it so well that there's not much for me to add. Rosa is a delight and her communication ahead of time as well as on the day was all spot on.... More

Enjoyed a great class with Rosa. She does a good job of running a well oiled class and market tour without it feeling too much like a corporate class. Quite the opposite. We got super lucky and had great fellow participants so we really enjoyed the time we spent touring the market, learning about some of the specialties of the... More

I took a class with Rosa Jackson 6 or 7 years ago when she thought from her home. Recently I took another Market Cooking Class. Now in her new location. It was really excellent. The shopping part starts in the Old Town. We visited stalls and she had us taste salts, some fresh fruit. While at same time giving a... More

We spent a truly pleasant day with Rosa and her assistant, first on selection of ingrediants then préparation, and finally enjoyment over a good Provencal Rose wine. Rosa gave us some great cooking tips, and importantly showed us how to cook a good Socca - comfort food in this part of the world. À wonderful way to wrap up our... More

A fabulous day starting at the market where Rosa introduced everyone to some of the local produce, then a well-planned and fascinating class with lots of hands-on cooking Provencal dishes. A sheer delight and delicious too!

We had a day long cooking class for my family - parents and kids (18-26). Rosa did a superb job preparing, keeping us involved, teaching - and the food was fantastic. We had local dishes and learned about the ingredients as well as the cooking techniques. Rosa was so nice - it made for a great day to just appreciate... More
