This is a good way of seeing around Nice and getting upto the castle without the hike up (this walk is worth doing but we didn't want to do it twice!). Be warned though if you wish to spend more than 15 minutes at the top which is not long enough you have to walk down, you CANNOT get on... More

Very nice ride around Old Nice and all the way up the hill overlooking the city. Commentary is in multiple languages. It would have been nice if they gave you a bit more than 10 minutes at the top of the hill, but it was enough to take in the view and snap a few pics.

Fairly useful to get your bearings but little to see apart from going up the hill to the castle. Ten euros a head so a bit expensive for what you get.

Me and my son got the train today for 10 euros. It is an hour journey back to promenade. It was amazing views when it stopped for 10 mins. We missed the train by mistake as we went to check the playground. However we got the next train. You get amazing views of nice. Its very pretty! A must in... More

The view at the top looking down on the Baie des Anges is not to be missed. The little train can go where the bus can't. Most beautiful journey up the winding road. Excellent commentary.

Easy and relaxing way to get round some key places in Nice. I travelled with my mum and she enjoyed seeing the places we would not have walked to. Just do it.

Really interesting to see Nice from a different angle. Commentary was fascinating. And the time spent at the castle gardens with its amazing views over Nice is priceless. Would highly recommend to anyone of any age!

Why oh why, everywhere I go in the world am I hounded by these horrendous ruddy things? Honestly, can you think of anything worse than a pretend old train ferrying people to lazy to walk anywhere. Also, doesn't really go to any of the interesting parts.

We have been to Nice before but never been on the Le Petit Train. Would recommend. Good for taking photos.
