I would recommend putting aside 3 hours to walk up to the top of Castle Hill. I walked up via the steep steps from near the very east end of the beach. It’s a really steep climb and about 90m vertically. However, there is also...More

View from this spot is wonderful! We had to climb the stairs, because elevator didn't work (something like that) and there is a lot of stairs. But it was worth it, view will make you fall in love with this town.

We climbed the hill on the Port side and the views were incredible. Not only that, but every so often there are resting places you can stop at that are right out of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The resting places are serene and secluded with...More

Absolutely wonderful view from every side. There are little historical facts around the place and it was nice to learn something that we hadn't expected to. Doesn't take long to walk up or down - if you're not distracted by the magnificent view behind or...More

A must see. Amazing views of the entire city. Le promenade d'anglais, the old town (vielle ville), the port and on and on. A tip: Take the little tourist train up their by purchasing the French Rivera pass (included and saves you $10).

Capture the quiet and morning air and colors by getting up here first thing in the day. We climbed it on the port side, which gave great morning photos, and then descended on the beach side. The 360 view is stunning in every direction.

This was a fairly easy climb to the top and even had elevator access. It was a beautiful way to see the city and definitely worth a visit

Yes, There is an underground car park which is underneath the flower market. There is a lift up to the flower market and then the Castle Hill lift would be at the East end.

Lovely open area for children to play. Easy access even with pram - are some steps but would not think too much of a problem
