Very interesting museum showing Chagall's work from his esarly years to his last works. Excellent auditorium which plays music/opera/ballet showing Chagall's work as a theatre designer. Very impressive.

The museum gives you a wonderful taste of Marc Chagall's works. Predominant themes are biblical and Jewish life. The museum is relatively small so your visit will not take all day. I found it perfect for a cloudy afternoon. Do walk there as short climb...More

We went to the museum to find out why Marc Chagall is so important and popular. And, we saw a lot of his work. The free audio was quite helpful in understanding the art and, frankly, I needed it. Now I better understand Chagall; but...More

We enjoy art, but must say, we are not experts - but after this visit, I am a Chagall lover! The design of the museum was exceptional (Chagall designed it himself), and the art and its descriptions were fascinating. Go if you have the chance!

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the museum. The number 15 bus from the middle of Nice stops outside making it very easy to get to. Wonderful pictures. Not to be missed.

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
