Marc Chagall is one of the nicest museum I have been before. Very straight, clear, accurate and accented on Marc Chagall's cultural legacy. Buateful, cute and cosy museum building still keep Marc Chagall's spirit in the air. You can spend here easily a half of...More

With great anticipation I hoofed the fairly long uphill walk from the commercial center to the museum through some nice neighborhoods. I opened my purse, handed over my ten euros and answered where I was from. Signs told me to keep my ticket to get...More

I dunno i am sure this is ped estrian but I didn't see a single thing I would have in my house or yard if my great aunt gave it to me for free. If you LOVE Chagall definitely go. But for me it was...More

I saw the Chagal show in Montreal so I thought I'd skip the gallery. I'm so happy I didn't, these are paintings that don't go on loan and the museum was designed to showcase them. Being Jewish and of Russian descent, Chagall holds a special...More

Enjoyed visit to this museum. A few things to note though. There is a film (very good apparently) that is shown at 10.15, 12.15, 14.15 in French and 11.15. 13.15 and 15.15 in English. When purchasing admission tickets there is no information provided about this...More

Surprised by the variety of experiences of Chagall's work in this relatively small museum, we were both happy that we took the time to visit. You get an electronic "guide" so you can listen to explanations of each piece, even though I personally rather enjoyed...More

I knew very little about Chagall before my visit and was blown away by his paintings. I loved them The sculptures were less interesting for me. The museum has a café, a shop and a garden, and inside, they have air conditioning in the summer.

I couldn't wait to get to the museum and I want to see it again, because I am a great admirer of Marc Chagall's work and personality. Some reviews said it was disappointing, but if you don't like something it may certainly be the case....More

We read great reviews about this place so thought we'd give it a try but was very disappointing and too expensive for what it is. Very small and can be done in 15-30 mins. If you don't really like Chagall then this place definitely not...More

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
