Well worth a visit when in Nice. The audio guide really added detail and the paintings are special. It is close to the Matisse museum but is definitely the better of the two if you have a short time

Irritatingly, only two rooms of paintings. Not much more. Special exhibits closed. It seems like the museum is just there to advertise for the cafe. Also: parking is very difficult to find, unless you pay (which is expensive). Disappointing.
The museum was worth it as I was interested in seeing Chagall's biblical paintings. If you are not interested in seeing these, then don't visit the museum as it's all they have. Museum is small, can see everything in less than 1 hour.
Difficult to find on foot and best bit was the cafe which served decent snack from a very small kitchen. Paintings not great by my taste and does not take long to get round. Not free as guide book said but 10 Euro an adult....More
