    Beautiful Russian cathedral
Visually stunning to see from the outside, in an open space so you can also sit on park benches around the cathedral, I did this while having lunch. Going inside was also good to see, very small compared to most cathedrals so you only need 10 minutes inside. Located about 20 minute walk from main city area but easy to find.

Russian Orthodox Church of Exquisite Design
Talk about exceeding expectations. The church is remarkable and, for once, we were smart (lucky) enough to accept a guided tour by an incredibly knowledgeable docent. Her ability to explain the sophisticated iconography took us to a new level of understanding. And the history of the unrealized tomb of the son of Tsar Alexander and the subsequent support of the monument as communist Russia essentially expunged the church was truly revealing. Not to be missed!

    Beautiful Cathedral with Bonus Rabbits!
We had expected the exterior and interior of this Cathedral near the train station to look spectacular. We had not expected to encounter two white lop-eared rabbits happily bouncing around in the grounds, despite the rain. They were delightful. Entrance to the Cathedral is free but if you want to walk beyond the rope barrier or see the small exhibition in the crypt there is a €5 per person cost. It does allow you to get a better view of the ornate interior though. The Cathedral is located quite close to the main train station.

    A beautiful place
It is a beautiful building. Great history of the Russian nobility who spent their winters in Nice… I remember older ladies. Obviously Russian aristocrats with their companions having afternoon yearly. That was in the late 60’s a must see

    Big and Decorative
This is the biggest church in town and has a Russian design. It can be found in the 19th/20th Century part of town with some open space around it. Quite ornate, decorative inside, and worth a quick visit. If you are a believer, attend a service here for a special experience.

A piece of Russia on the Riviera
Stunning building.. very impressive… This was definitely on our to-do list and we weren’t disappointed. It is the property of the Russian Federation (the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate) and it was dedicated to the memory of Niholas Alexandrovich Tsarevich of Russia who died in Nice. The construction of the church was funded by his father, Nicholas II. After 1860, when the Nice region became French, the Russian aristocracy stayed in Nice. This led to important architectural heritage, because Russians built villas and buildings which still exist. I would definitely recommend you to visit the church, even with your young ones. Its green surroundings are home to white rabbits. There is a clean toilet if you need to refresh. Since we were in a hurry, we used Uber from Place Massena, which cost about 12 euros.

Definitely not what you'd expect in Nice! Wouldn't say it's worth making a special effort to see though unless in the area already. Yes impressive from the outside but the interior is quite small and there's not really a lot to see. Once you go inside you can only view it from behind the rope barrier and it's disappointing that you have to pay to go in further.

Its big, beautiful and very different from the other churches you'll see in Nice or nearby regions. When we went there, a group of old folks were playing some local games close to the church.

This a beautiful building and well worth a visit, free to enter too which is always a plus. It looks a bit incongruous in the middle of city surrounded by French buildings but that seems to add to its appeal.
