We had a lot of fun walking around this lovely old Village. This is what I imagine when I think medieval village in France, cobbled roads, tall towers and a lovely warm sense of history. The view from the top of the sapphire waters of the Cote D'azur is breathtaking.

When I visited Eze medieval village I felt like I was sent back in time: the streets or rather narrow cobblestone alleyways, the old stone buildings, the archways, fountains, the lanterns. It's what you travel half way around the world to see. Amazing.

(Traveled August 2015) My wife and I were awestruck when we visited this amazing little town. The beautiful medieval town of Eze is exactly what you imagine France to be all about when you think of it. Eze is located on a hilltop in the French Riviera overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It has many shops, art galleries, hotels and restaurants... More

We loved meandering all the little stone streets, viewing the stone buildings built over the centuries.

Really beautiful old streets, mandatory over-priced art and craft shops, some nice little eateries. Avoid the restaurant/cafe at the entrance to the old town, it's over-priced and poor quality. Fantastic views but ONLY from the botanic garden which is a paid attraction. Don't miss the views from there though, they are incredible.

We went here for a few hours and climbed up windy cobblestone streets to the garden on top where there were lovely statues, tropical plants, and fabulous views of the sea. It was so beautiful! Really enjoyed it. If you have trouble with stairs, I wouldn't recommend it since it is steep. We had a cappucino there in a charming... More

Beautiful medieval village which has been preserved really well. The buildings and narrow cobbled streets still retain the beauty of history. You also have fabulous views over St Jean-Cap Ferrat,

On Sundays 99% of the shops and galleries are closed, so it is better to go another day of the week. There is paid parking on the bottom of the hill.

Our tour guide Ingrid recommended us to visit this location as part of our private day tour, and we're so glad we listened to her advice. A small medieval village between Nice & Monaco, the village still retains its original look and feel, helped by its policy of no motor vehicles inside other than a single portable motor lift to... Visited in May 2012 on day trip from Nice to Monaco. Very windy narrow streets leading uphill through the village of shops, a school, cafes, etc. It took us a little longer because school had let out and we got stuck behind the class for a while. Nice views of the Côte d'Azur from here.
