Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Close to the famous Palais de Festival and busy La Croisette street. Marina is full of amazing yachts and ships all around the Europe. On the opposite street you can find few restaurants with fresh fishes. Nice place for sunset walking...

We walked along the area on a rainy day and still enjoyed the boats all around. The place is very nice and there's so many beautiful sailboats all over the place. Near way to spend an afternoon.

We had a jolly stroll one afternoon around the pontoons, admiring the various different yachts moored up and also dreaming which one we would buy.

We strolled casually around the harbour taking in all the atmosphere on a warm sunny day looking at the many different types of boat moored up and the occupants and crews going about their business.
This is a pleasant walk and there are many bars and restaurants along the route where you can stop off for a drink or a bite to eat.
Definitely one of the must do things whilst you are in Cannes.

Great, free attraction for any type of trip (solo, couples, families).
The harbour is very central to Cannes & all the local amenities.
It's a great place to visit to get away from the crowds & noise at La Croisette / the main beach.

This was our first trip to Cannes. We had read about the expensive accommodations and restaurants and attractions. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great it was to walk around the harbour and through the adjacent park lands. I agree that many of the boats are excessively large, but it was most interesting to see them on display. The photography of the boats and the changing colour of the water, was exciting. The antiques market happening at the same time, was most interesting (although the goods expensive). All of this for the cost of a 3 euro return bus trip from Nice!
