I visited Ile Sainte-Marguerite a few weeks ago with my father. The island is relatively small with very few activities or distractions. Walking the whole island took about 2.5 hours with a stop for lunch (although there are many bypasses where you can cut across...More

Ferry ride over via Trans Cote Azur was pleasant. The island is beautiful, with crystal clear water and native vegetation. The museum was interesting. The jail, I have to admit, was a little disappointing. I wanted more information about it. To be fair we didn't...More

Mmmmmmm, trying to be genuine here but I was bored with my visit and couldn't wait to get back on the boat back to Cannes. Probably a good place to walk the dog.

Real jewel only 15 minutes from Cannes. In the island there are kilometer after kilometer marvellous paths to walk. While walking you can admire the lovely scenery. If you have enough time, you van also visit the museum. But only, if you have spare time.

15 minutes by boat (that leave every half hour) from Cannes harbour. This island is great for a picturesque and quiet stroll. It is served by a couple of bars and cafes. There is also a ludicrously expensive restaurant by the Fort. The island is...More

There is no accommodation that I have seen. The island is quite small and is mainly covered in woodland with lots of sandy dirt paths criss-crossing the place. There is the remains of an old fort and one or two little... More
