This museum is about of the 5 Continents culture, and tradition . If you like to be on your own with no explanation during your visit. Good for you. I felt quite sorry for those don't speak or read French. Though their were some wooden tablets available for us these weren't not explaining the different items but a vague story of... More

This review is mainly of a cycle sportive i completed in Castres on Sunday 26th April. Its an annual event with 3 different routes 57km. 97km and 127km. We arrived on Saturday and stayed about 7km outside town. Firstly, the organisation of this event is 1st class from the registration the night before to the event on Sunday, i would... More

Nice little museum for 6 Euro. Not busy so you can take your time and enjoy the paintings and a variety of other small exhibits, including an Egyptian, Persian and South Pacific collection. All-in-all, quite an interesting variety. Many of the exhibits have information translated into several languages, including English. If you plan to visit, go on a sunny day... More

Leave your car at the Pantiero parking and take the footpath that takes you from the seafront up to a medieval castle, its chapel and square tower. What used to be the fortified convent of a french monastical order is now a museum housing the collections of baron Lycklama, 19 century dutch nobleman, collector-extraordinaire and honoray citizen of Cannes. After... More

The Museum is ok but the location and the views you get of Cannes from the watch tower is worth the visit. A must see for tourists .

I liked that the museum was free on the first Sunday of the month during the winter months. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were very clean and well kept. They have a wide variety of items to look at from many places around the world. It was beautiful to see everything, especially the city of Cannes from... More

This has a very mixed, eclectic collection - musical instruments, sea treasures and an art gallery. Marvellous site with garden around it and good views.

This little museum on top of a mountain right in the heart of Cannes. I believe it cost 5 euro and at the end of the tour there was a tower you could walk up that was the highest point in Cannes with a beautiful view of the bay and the Alps.

This small museum has a very eclectic collection ranging from primitive art to antiquities and musical instruments. Do not forget to comb up the dungeon tower for a unique view of the Cannes bay and its surroundings
