More than anything else , the idea of lunching on the beach even though by myself was irresistible. had to be done !! If nothing else for those of us that live in the UK this can be unusual. Great lunch nice wine option really...More

My wife and I visited Cannes mid-October and fondly remember the afternoon walks along Le Croisette promenade and also lounging on the private beach front of our hotel, Hotel Barriere Le' Gray d'Albion. We really enjoyed the promenade and you cannot miss walking or jogging...More

La Croisette is bustling and glitzy, thanks to the annual film festival and the AFM conference in October. It's crowded and a bit crazy, but scenic and fun nonetheless. Hard to imagine it during the film fest -- but I'd bet the people watching would...More

Cannes sea front promenade, with the beach and pedestrianized walkway on one side of the street and designer shops and luxury hotels on the other side. Cannes has a sandy beach (unlike Nice which has a pebble beach). The beach has free, public areas as...More

beautiful boardwalk, nice views. We wanted to sit back and relax, and watch the water and the ships, but lack of seating- only those famous individual blue chairs, but most broken or occupied.

Nice place for long stroll from one public beach to the other: maybe a mile or so. Vector off to one of the boat [piers to see the mega-yachts.

I had the privileged to walk along this promenade in true leisure, no rush no specific agenda... All the restaurants along La Croisette partially belong to the respective major hotels that are located along La Croisette. The restaurants are more expensive here. Morning run along...More

A much smaller town than Nice and more of a fashion hotspot for tourists than a real city that thrives in its own right. The promenade along the beach is a good place to walk and get an ice cream.
