Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Cathedrale Note Dame de la Platea is better outside than in.
If you are in the old town pop your head in if it is open.

Stunning Cathedral. Easy to find in the old town. Offers peace and tranquility within its beautiful old walls. The art work and arcitecture is handsome and tells tales of the history and trauma it has withstood over the years.
If you are lucky you can sit and be part of a service or listen to the choir singing.
A place to go and sit quietly and just be in this mad word we are in.

I only realised this was a Cathedral as we were leaving & saw a sign for it. It is really a beautiful church & we passed a happy half an hour looking around it. Definitely worth a visit.

I actually went to church here one Sunday while in Antibes. Everyone was very welcoming even though I didn't know much French! The church is beautiful to say the least, located right near the museum it is a must see!

Great history and a highly rated favorite of my of my visit to Antibes. It is next to the museum and should not be missed if you are into old churches or religious sites.

This modest cathedral which overlooks the sea in Antibes next to the Grimaldi palace seems new but old. And it is - rebuilt and rebuilt over the centuries. It was originally built over the site of a pre-Christian pagan temple. St. Paul was supposedly arrested here in AD 67 while en route to Spain. Talk about a historical site - and it feels like it. All the walkways in this area felt heavily haunted to me. I especially loved the old church doors - the main ones and the others. In the interior, its historical treasures seem few and fragile, perhaps a reflection of the general everyday limits of the incomes of the congregation. But its spirit must be large - an active church life schedule and calendar were there, ready to accommodate all comers. Not far from the Marche towards the sea.

Stumbled across cathedral after visiting the nearby Picasso Museum. As others have said it is a fairly simple cathedral compared to some others but well worth a visit.

My wife, two children and I attend mass here July 18 during a Saturday evening. The mass at 7 pm is in English. The priest conducting the mass was a Filipino and there were many Filipinos in attendance. The altar was very nice as well as the side areas. The outside of the church is interesting. The church is located not far from the Picasso Museum.

I guess I have seen so any similar buildings I find it hard to get too excited but I have to say the outside architecture was photogenic and was worth seeing.

It’s also very close to the market which runs everyday up to 1pm.

This is a beautiful building from the outside, but the interim is a bit of a disappointment. Don't go out of your way to visit this Cathedral, but it is not far from the outdoor market, so if you have 10 minutes, it is worth a look.
