We got very lucky that we were able to do a wine tasting as we didn't have reservations, but the young man offered to combine us with another reservation! All of the wines that we tasted were excellent. We would have bought one of each if we didn't have a weight limit on our luggage. The associate was very informative and shared information on the winemaking processes for each wine. Highly recommend this tasting experience, and if you can't taste--buy the wines anyway!

We had a wonderful tour with Pierre. Gracious. Educational. Passion for his trade. We experienced a wonderful tour thanks to Pierre. Our path intersected at a local restaurant when he found us looking for directions. He jumped into the middle of our conversation and offered to give us a personal tour of his winery. What a fantastic memory.

We had a wine tasting on 22 May 2024. Tatiana, who attended to us was amazing. She was informative and friendly. Such a good experience! We enjoyed the wine tasting but Tatiana made it wonderful!! Thanks a lot!!

We actually stayed there on September 2022 and we were told they would go through renovations soon (not sure if that already happened). Our favorite wines are from CdP so we decided to venture into the area to do some serious wine tasting and eating the delicious food of the region. While we're there why not stay in a proper Chateau? Booking was fairly easy and we were very excited to stay in a real castle for the first time. It didn't disappoint. Even though they preserved the original structure you could see the place had carefully been restored and modernized. We were greeted at arrival by one of the owners, she gave us a brief history of the venue and explained everything there was to know to make the most out of our stay. The room was located on the second floor. Very cozy and comfortable. Exactly what you would expect from a castle. The grounds of Fortia were ideal to take short walks and breath the fresh air, as well as to sit down and enjoy a glass of delicious local Red. The salons inside were equally cozy and inviting. We liked Fortia so much that we even asked if they rented the venue for weddings but sadly the owner said they didn't.

My husband and I booked the wine tasting and cellar tour through Château Fortia's website, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend. The team there were incredible and very friendly, and happily spoke English as well as French which I really appreciated. The wine is also superb, as expected. I will definitely be back again next year! Thank you so much to the Château Fortia team!
