The pope palace is very big and with nice explanation in each room. There is cafe in case you need some refreshments. It is definitely a thing you must see if you are in Avignon.

Architecture for the fan of all buildings medieval? and beautiful. One has only to look at the craftsmanship and extensive work of these buildings and marvel at how they were built.

If you're visiting Avignon anyway then seeing the Pope's Palace is one of the so called "must see" sights but don't set your expectations too high. It's an interesting place to see but there's nothing spectacular about it that makes it special. Worth an hour...More

Toured here today - incredible history dating back to 13th century. The frescoes steer incredibly beautiful, as are the tiles. Right in city center, allow an hour. Audio tour available.

The sheer monumentalism of a vast gothic building and its historical importance, architectural and clerical. Amazing. Must go and Must donate to keep preserving such beauty!

This location must be seen if for the few frescos that remain. Not a stylish palace but never the less the historical value is worth the visit.

Excellent attraction to visit. Walk in the footsteps of the Pope and look out of the balcony window where they waived to the crowd below. Not disabled friendly, lots of steps.

Visit took over two hours and so interesting. Loads of information even for English speakers. Would put it first on a list of places to go in Avignon

This was well worth the admission price. The architectural structure and artifacts were remarkably maintained.

Easy. You would get near the Pont d Avignon and if you go to the bridge information shop you can buy a ticket to go on the bridge and straight into the Palais. Enjoy.
