I just noticed the negative reviews of this place, went there 3 weeks ago and all was pretty groovy if you ask me. Bartender was the owner, and the house 'marinee' (not sure how to spell that) was unusual but quite tasty. Definitely not your typical pub, even for France.

If you would like to discover the true heart of Avignon and the South of France's rock'n'roll, artistic and underground scene then you must stop at the Pub z. From a far, you might think "this is one striped industrial pub lost in the south of France" but when you walk in, stay a little while and discover it's "fauna"... More
