A little oasis of calm in this wonderful city... This was part of a walking tour but a fabulous finale and tragic to think of Vincent incarcerated in here

Although I'm not an art lover...this place is an absolute must see. The way it has been crated from the painting is incredible

Beautiful garden which leaves no doubt why Van Gogh enjoyed it there. Have a break and walk around -puts your mind into peace.

Lovely garden courtyard Van Gogh used as a quiet space. No admission fee. An interesting reproduction of his depiction of the space. The trees have grown!

This is a beautiful building and garden and is a part of the great artist's life. Interesting to stroll through.

Not to be confused with the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh. Basically the former asylum of Arles. Closed and re-opened as a multifunctional building. Loyal to the former patient, the garden is shaped into a lookalike of the Van Gogh painting.

A hidden gem right in the heart of Arles. The garden is set out as in the time of Vincent Van Gogh and is so pretty. They have a little cafe to stop and rest and admire the view. Worth a trip.

This is a lovely quiet oasis in the middle of the busy old town. Not much else to it except for a few tourist shops.

Our city tour made a short stop in this quiet and beautiful space where Van Gogh was hospitalized. It is also a location that he painted. Well worth the visit, even a short one. Also a good public toilet stop.

This space has been renovated to return it to the earlier charm of Van Gogh paintings. They actually used the paintings as there were no architectural drawings or other documents to work from.
