Went by here just today for a glass of wine after our sightseeing...found a nice shady bar outside and enjoyed. We also are going to the area for dinner tonight!

Many restaurants are in this square but be warned they are not cheap. Its worth a look and a cold drink

A nice spot to relax after walking around Arles. There is a wooded park and many cafes surrounding the park.

This is the other main square in Arles and as the name suggests it has an ancient past and has some remains. Otherwise it is full of mid-priced restaurants geared to tourists.

Even without its association with Van Gogh, this square is above average in prettiness. Note the two columns in the facade of the hotel on the corner - part of the original Roman forum complex.

Located near another Roman ruin, the the Cryptoportiques, the Forum is a nice place to sit, people watch, and have lunch or and evening meal.

Lively charming place; do NOT visit the tourist trap yellow van Gogh terrace-restaurant because tourist trap prices but visit the 2 big places on the left (when standing in front): not very cheap drinks but fine diner in such atmosphere

Place du Forum is in the heart of Arles. Original columns from ancient Rome. Hint: skip the tourist-packed restaurants at night and find one of the many nice places on one of the side streets.
