Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came across this large open area while wandering the streets. It is quite spacious and it is the place to come to if you wish to find a restaurant to sit down and have a meal. We didn't sit but just looked around. The place looks nice enough and in mild weather it would be the perfect spot to relax and unwind for a while.

This is a large concrete square that appears to sit on top of a car park and has several different levels. There was nothing of note in the square other than a rather ordinary partially moss covered fountain and a plethora of restaurants offering a variety of different cuisines.

The fountain here is not particularly attractive. However, fountains like Cardeurs, located in a large, paved square surrounded by tall brick buildings reflecting hot sunlight, manage to lend a sense of coolness to those dining in the many outdoor restaurants nearby.

This is a square in the old town, full of restaurants. Here are some of the best restaurants in Aix-en-Provence, and the total number of restaurants in the square is about 20.

Carder Square in the old town was created not so long ago - in 1963. Formed at the site of the demolition of a block of unsanitary houses. Now there are restaurants on it.

Heart of Aix, it is a lovely square with a lot of charm but the excessive use for “dining room” makes you not see it and it is only a sea of terraces with horrible structures some of them. It was much prettier in the '90s where every bar took out a few little tables and already... Today it is a horror and you can neither walk nor see well the square .... One more pity about mass tourism
