Do not miss the the exceptional tapissery of the apocalypse... Among the oldest in France, and of great conservation, there are the main reason to visit the castle

Very impressive castle, but the real highlight is the incredible tapestry. Well worth a visit if anywhere in this part of France.

13th century castle is must see place in Angers. Gardens in it was wonderful. Nice, quiet and full of history. It doesnt take too much time to finish the tour but totally worths it.

I suppose that lots of people bypass Angers on their way South to the Mediterranean. Which is a shame. The castle is fabulous and the 14th century Apocalypse tapestry quite remarkable. Go.

I loved to visit the castle , was so much history made you picture yourself there on thoses time . Amazing garden, e lovely views. Worth the visit, only 9 euros Wonderful experience
