Great little place to view bikes and cars of all shapes and sizes. Little look into the history of them. Past circuit winners, and just a bonus visit to include while we were at the motogp race. We enjoyed this museum.

Is there a bus from the train station that gets closer to the museum than the tram? I understand there is a 2-mile walk to the museum from the closest tram stop, is that possibly correct? Also I saw that for an additional €3.50 there is a tour of a portion of the track? I can't find a site though that tells me more about that. We are making a special 1-day stop in Le Mans so my husband can see the museum. Thanks.

It's not possible to traverse to the site by car. You can make the guided tour every Saturday at 3:00 pm from a guide by feet except during the sports events on the circuit.
