Visited with a couple of family members, easy peazy donation entry. Exhibits feature informative stories of the local mining town alongside plenty of old fashioned tools and belongings. The home is altered to accommodate the museum purpose and the grounds are tidy and filled with...More

This little museum is in an interesting original coal mine manager's cottage, and open every day with kind volunteers running it. It is located off Highway 1 on the opposite side of Huntly town in a residential street and is easy to park outside. There...More

Wonderful little museum, with a wealth of information on the coal mining history of the area as well as a peek into the early life in a coal miner's cottage. When visiting, the textile collection on display was fantastic, with a beautiful display of clothes...More
