Ok with a few tables. Looks better from the outside. Not busy so good from that point if view.

Unlike its similar in size sister in Deauville, this one is in Trouville, about one mile away in straight line, but within a 15 minute walk, only because you must go around a canal to get there. Unlike the one in Deauville, where we were asked to show our (American) passport to get in, this one in Trouville only wanted to see our US state driver license. There is no entrance fees in either.
Le Casino Barriere de Trouville is about the size of a boat casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana, like the Isles de Capri for instance. There are about 225 slot machines (according to staff) and under 20 tables. There is a decent variety in slots to choose from, and from our own experience, the machines did not give nearly as high a percentage of returns as ours on the US reservations, let alone as the ones in Vegas! We did not expect it to be, either. With that mind set, it was a good experience and we had fun. (Had we won some, we would have had even more fun, you'd bet!). The atmosphere was great, but it was also August, when most French people are taking their month long annual vacation. Being a casual player, I personally spent a few hours the night before and had enough fun (and maybe urge!?) to return the next day for a little bit more before our trip back to Paris from Deauville/Trouville. Without winning, it was still a great experience, though!

It's a biggest casino I have seen ever.Its in the middle of deauville and trouville. It's a one time experience and I hope u would not loose much.

We were at the restaurant first then planning to go inside the casino with my parents yesterday. My father is 74 years old and my is 64 and i’m 40. First of all, the staff cannot speak a single word of english. When we ordered a wine telling them to be a white fumee, they bring us a demi sweet wine. Then they opened a new bottle after we say that we don’t ordered a sweet wine. We asked for a beer for my father but only after reminding them twice they bring it. They don’t even understand few words of English when we ask an olive oil for the salad. Anyways, we asked them if we can smoke inside the casino and the waitress told us that we can. So my father goes to the entrance for a smoke and asks the guard if he can smoke inside and he says ok. But after a while a so called patronizing chief of something comes and warns my father not to smoke. My father insists that the guard allowed him to. So the verbal fight starts and they kicked us out the restaurant. I was explaining to him that his colleagues told us that ee can smoke he told me with a gesture that he cannot understand me and he says that this is France you should talk in French. This person and the guard who lies stating that he did not allow my father to smoke are so rude and ignorant people. They don’t know how to communicate and because of their ignorence and lack of language capability the only solution that they found was to kick us out so rudely. I will nor recommend this place and i will also write a complaint to the management of the casino and the hotel too. We didn’t do anything but they dared to kick us as afamily feom the restaurant and not even trying to communicate. Don’t go there and don’t make these kind of people to gain money from you.

Great atmosphere and we'll managed. Slots are fair and service is great and staff friendly and professional. Friendly and makes you feel special. If you want to have a little fun and possibly win some money Casino Barrière Trouville is for you. Great spot have fun and know your limit.

A venue looking grander than the small playing arena it contains, 90% of the staff are totally miserable which compounds the lack of atmosphere and the food is terrible. As for the sports bar.. this is just an area near a tv. The house always wins as normal so save your money and go over the road to the many bass and restaurants.

Ordered drinks and ended up with the most expensive red wine on the list although asked for the cheapest. Staff were rude and patronising. Obviously don’t like the English so avoid!

Visitors can go in , have a drink , wander round and leave. Not necessary to spend any money Plenty of guards and security and the whole building has recently been re-furbished.

I actually did not get into the casino.
Was not permitted as I did not have my passport in hand. They would no accept my passport I had in my dock-scan on my phone. Or my photo drives license.
