Flowers, flowers, everywhere. I was awestruck. It was overwhelming. The only thing that wasn't in bloom were the waterlilies.

Private small group excursion with ACSM Tours from Le Havre to Rouen and Giverny was much better than Princess Cruise's offering. The gardens were filled with springtime blooming bulbs and shrubs. Tulips, daffodils, azaleas were incredibly beautiful, but we were too early for the water lilies. The village is charming and Monet's house is a wonderful piece of history. Plenty... More

It was really worth coming in a small mini van tour of 5 people- we skipped the line and could go right in. Our guide bought tickets to the venues and we explored on our own. The gardens exceeded my wildest expectations, the house is charming as can be, there is a gift shop, cafe, toilettes, and we toured the... More

We made our own way to Giverny from Paris and it was very straight forward. We went from St Lazarre station, top floor. It was the second stop - Vernon - and took about 45/50 mins. When we arrived at Vernon there was a shuttle bus waiting - 10 Euros round trip. Pick up a leaflet from one of the... More

If you are at all familiar with Monet's work, you're probably familiar with his water lily series, and if you go to his house and gardens, you can see the pond with those exact water lilies. The gardens (and even the house) are absolutely beautiful, but it is incredibly crowded. It was a huge challenge to get a picture without... More

The group tour entrance was a shorter line than the main one. On Sunday with good weather, it was crowded in both the garden and the house. I was very impressed with all the flowers in bloom in the garden (much more than I expected). The line of people going thru the house was long and slow. It was hard... More

The gardens, house and pond are absolutely amazing. Well worth the visit. Would suggest early morning visit to avoid the crowds.

This is worth a visit though be prepared for crowds. You can do this without having to book through a tour company and just take the train on your own, you'll have more time to enjoy the garden at your leisure instead of trying to rush in order to make it to the meet-up time. The gardens are very beautiful... More

It wasn't until after many visits to Paris that I finally made it out to Giverny and I wish I had gone sooner! We went in April and it was absolutely stunning. The tulips were in bloom and it was the most immaculate garden I have ever seen. It was a big bonus to actually go into Monet's house as... More
