We walked to this lovely little park from the street behind the Holy Trinity Basilica. As we came off the cruise ship, picked up a map from the friendly staff and asked for advice on highlights of Cherbourg. It was about a 15 minutes walk...More

The park is very small (you can walk it in 15 minutes), but not only is it very well designed but it's also very well maintained. There a big green house with lots of exotic plants and trees, fountains and small ponds. Very restful.

Its not too big, good for family, easy to explore and it will be enough for a visit after breakfast in the morning :)

This little park is a bit off the beaten track, and the Cherbourg streets here are laid out at odd angles. However, once found it is quite intriguing, with room for children to play. It was a damp but sunny October day, wet underfoot and...More

We have visited Cherbourg many times, I had read about these gardens and we went out of our way to find them. They were beautiful on a dull day and must be even better in the sunshine. Unfortunately it was late in the day and...More
