Had a picnic on the grass outside and spent some time with the kids inside. Very french compared to the others cathedrals we have been to. Good to visit if you are going to the Tapestry but wouldn't plan to go without.

Don't miss St. Patrice. The people are so friendly and eager to explain the treasures inside their church. The church has many historic mass vestments you may be able to see if you ask. A member of our group is an organist and the organist...More

What a beautiful Church. Both my wife and I were enamored with it. Also they let you visit the crypt in the church. Very facinating

We went to the cathedral quite early in the day and had a magical, quiet visit, we found the whole visit interesting. It was very busy as we were leaving mid morning.

Visited here whilst on a school trip and I really enjoyed it. The building is very impressive and I especially liked the stained glass. There's lots to look at here and learn about.

Consecrated in 1077 by William the Conquerer this glorious basilica was not mentioned on our tour itinerary but is definitely worth taking a very short walk to see. Lovely stained glass, carvings, arches and spires.
