This is a good museum for understanding the events of D-Day. Do not miss their film presentation. Their artifacts and displays are really interesting. Just the right amount of detail.

First time to the region and the museum is spectacular in many ways. The grounds are impressive and impeccable. The way they tell the story of the invasion is impressive and the cemetery is something that certainly hits home for you.

We were staying in Bayeux and enjoyed the 15 minutes walk over the museum through the quaint and wonderful town of Bayeux. We thought the museum was good and especially enjoyed the 25-30 minute film at the end. That is not to be missed.

This is a good way to spend some time in Bayeux. Very Educational. Not nearly as good as the Normandy tour, but it is a great way to spend time on a rainy day.

One of the best D Day museums. Well thought out with some interesting exhibits. Lots of radios in the exhibits as well which was good. They have some good vehicles which have been well chosen. Bayeux is a lovely town and the parking is good.
