If you travel to Albi anyway, or to see the magnificent cathedral, or you like Toulouse-Lautrec, this is a good museum for you. It contains a great deal of his artwork- paintings, sketches and posters made for various Parisian venues. The audio guild not only talked about the art but also the life of T-L. NOTE- You can purchase a... More

As part of an Odysseys Unlimited tour of France, we were taken to the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. I did not know much about his life and works, except for posters of the Moulin Rouge. Our excellent tour guide, who had majored in art history, gave us a fascinating tour of the museum. I have found that I much more enjoy museums... More

If you find yourself in Albi then a visit to the museum is essential, €9.00 to get in but worth while, there is an audio handset to hire if required, but we found that the info boards in English were very good. You'll leave having learned so much about this fascinating artist. Enjoy.

The Museum is the prime reason to visit the small town of Albi. Toulouse-Lautrec does not often get major displays, and this museum is ral find of the artist's many talents. It is also small enough not to overwhelm the non-expert visitor. We most highly recommend.

Extensive range of Toulouse Lautrec's work and if you like it then it's well worth the visit. It's setting in the Berbie Palace is very appropriate and makes great use of the space. Multilingul guide cards are available in each section to explain the pieces more fully. Wheelchair access available. There is a kiosk terminal in reception where you can pay... More

A remarkable museum in a beautiful historic palace. The exhibits give a great overview of the painter's life and how his work evolved over time. Very well done!

A superb collection of works by the artist, well laid out with cards in 3 languages to help you appreciate the paintings and drawings. All phases of his works are on display. well worth a visit, allow plenty of time to appreciate the museum and the amazing gardens.

Worthy world heritage site. Most beautiful art I've ever seen in a cathedral. Beautiful without the gilt and opulence of many churches.
