We paid four euro each (x2) to see a vast vacant building which looked and sounded promising, but with no exhibits and no view to speak of. One of the rooms was being used for a LGBT conference, and there were big groups of teenagers...More

This site has so many architectueal styles and influences. The arches, doors, gates, and repairs all tell a tale of the various conquerers, artisans, and occupations of the site. Parking was a bit of a challenge but it is a good place to visit and...More

Not a lot to see inside but interesting history and great views over the surrounding area. Cheap admission so well worth a visit for about 30 mind when in Perpignan.

Wandered around perpignan following signs and came across this palais lovely calm place to walk around friendly staff. Written guide available...more history to absorb rather than things to see ... excellent views of mountains and city

This was highly recommended by the tourist office. We were disappointed as there is not much to see. We went on the guided tour so we're given a history lesson which was quite interesting.

Thoroughly enjoyable visit to a beautiful castle. Taught us a little of the way things used to be in the Catalan area 500 years ago.

There was no one around when we arrived so we went in without paying and I still felt like it was a waste of time. Perpignan is ugly, so bad views from the top and the castle is bland and boring.

Suggest walking and not driving to the entrance, and imposing walk up through the walls to the entrance. Lovely gardens and great views towards the coast and the Pyrénées. The building is fascinating, most rooms are empty but you get a great sense of how...More

Don't be put off by the short walk from the old town - it's well worth it. The great vaulted brick ramp which leads you up to the great court in front of the Palace gives some sense of the majesty of the whole. Stop...More

20/30 minutes walk, lots of sign posts but a steep hill!

J'ai fais mon service militaire en 1972 au 24emRIMA, caserne attenante au Palais des rois de Majorque et en station radio donnant directement sur les Jardin du Palais. Ces photos réveillent en moi beaucoup de souvenirs.Merci.
