The tower offers an amazing view, beautiful gardens. Definitely worth a visit. Doesn't take long to climb the stairs to the top.

Amazing views from the top of the tower. A must see when in Nimes! You can buy a joint ticket for two other attractions which is great value for money.

It's a long walk to the Tour at the top of the hill in the Jardins de la Fontaine, but well worth it. The views are spectacular.

The walk to the tower is fantastic, so pretty but once you get to the tower and climb it you realise the walk to the tower was nicer than the ascent.

The tower is interesting, but part of a total package. Its part of the public gardens that also include the Temple of Diana. Spending an afternoon with the Tower, Temple and Gardens make a great day.

This is one of the main stated attractions in Nimes and it is worth including in the Pass which will give you entry to the Maison Carrée and the Arena which you will probably visit first. The Walk up to the Tower is best done through the Jardins de la Fontaine [Fountain Gardens]. It is a reasonable rise but not... More

On a cool October morning this was doable: the climb is somewhat challenging and the steps up the Tour Magne more so, but we got there. I wouldn't have undertaken it in summer; getting too old for that sort of thing. The prospect when you reach the top is nice, but I have seen better.

It is a good climb to the tower itself through beautiful park. The tower offers great views of Nimes after you have climbed the 100 steps to the top. Great vantage point. Inside there is an exhibition on the history of the tower, which I found really interesting. A combined ticket will get you into the tower, the Maison Carree... More

It was 35c when we went and the nicest part was whilst walking up the hill we sat on a bench under the trees for an hour looking out across Nimes through the gaps.
