We arrived here by tram and thought it would be interesting which to be fair it was! The visit consists of a film and then a commentary on the skies. We were given headsets which provided an English translation to the soundtrack of the film but the commentary is all in French which sadly we could not keep up with.... More

Planetarium Galile is definitely place you are supposed to visit with your children while you visit Montpelliere.

The planetarium itself is fantastic and has the capability of putting on a great show. However, this was really disappointing. I would recommend having a look at going to the 7+ one. The show was mostly about moles, worms and a spider very little to do with the stars or planets. It tries to be educational and fails badly. We... More

Good value for money - only 6 euros including headsets to listen to the commentary in English. Interesting and informative, including what stars to look for in the night sky that evening.

The movies at this IMAX Planetarium are great and informative, but the lecture after the movie by the staff is long and tedious and boring. They offer audio sets for various languages, which worked great for us English speakers. However, the post-movie lecture is only in French, so you have to sit there for 45 minutes not knowing what is... More
