This is a lovely part of Montpellier and a great contrast to the old town. A few restaurants and bars. Quiet with lots of space and walks by the canal.

This is a pedestrian area with some cafes and a few shops, it is generally quiet and peaceful and pleasant to stroll through. Some aspects of it look quite deserted and neglected and the stone finish of the buildings is starting to get grimy and...More

We fund this area to be a nice place for a stroll and get out of the traffic. The park area with the pond is very nice also.

It's a nice open space that you don't have to miss. There is also a fountain that you can see. On a sunny day it looks amazing.

Best promenade i've ever seen. As walking on the promenade, you pass lots of beautiful fountains and modern architecture. It ends on square of Europe, where the australian bar serves the best cocktails and piazza papa the best pizzas!

Part of this area, known simply as L'Esplanade, is a nice park with an excellent children's playground. Has a variety of play equipment and is fenced - there is also a shop serving good coffee just across from the playground. Good for some time out...More

This is a great scenic walk, particularly if you begin at the Polygone shopping centre through Antigone, passing by leafy trees, restaurants offering everything from cheapy fast food to more upmarket fish and wine, and admiring the general hustle and bustle of the city. The...More
