Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved this, the carriages are very well displayed with virtual reality displays so you can “look around” the carriages as if you are sat in them. There are some children carriages which we found very moving and some very extravagant items. Also entry is free so do not hesitate.

I dare guess that like 75% of the people that go to Versailles don't go to this building, even when some of the tickets include it.

This is a very short but very cool display. You'll be amazed, not only at how greatly decorated some of these coaches are, but how HUGE they are in parson.

This one won't take you an hour of your time. I really recommend you passing there on your way out of the palace

Not a big exhibition band very much napoleonic as opposed to Louis 14th but I was blown away by the size if the cliches, they are frankly enormous...wel worth a visit and an excellent audio visual presentation as well on the different types of coaches. Really enjoyed it

Only takes around 30 minutes to look around. Outside the Chateau and no queues but really worth a visit

This was our third visit to Versailles and as we had some free time we decided to come here. The coaches were really interesting to see and there was information provided in English. Great to see the coaches used for coronations, weddings and funerals. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is one of the rare attractions in Versailles that is free to visit, it is worth popping in to see the beautiful state coaches and they also have some original sleds used by Marie Antoinette, also carriages made for her children are on display.

The museum is in front of the Palace. It is not big, it can be seen in 15 to 30 minutes. The collection is absolutely impressive. These Royal carriages date back more than a hundred years ago. The museum is worth a visit.
