Such a beautiful garden, really well maintained. It helped it was a beautiful day and there are lots of benches to stop and enjoy the scenery! These gardens are HUGE! So I would definitely allow a few hours minimum! Unfortunately you have to pay separately...More

Gardens are huge and golf carts are very limited numbers (10-18) and we were waiting for 2 hours. The dust walking around was terrible even with golf cart you have to stop and park the cart and walk, so I don’t know how useful was...More

Gardens and pools and fountains and sculptures, wide walkways and loads of people. The best photo shots are actually from the palace first floors. Hire a golf cart to get around and have some fun at the same time!

The garden is huge! And beautiful! Prepare yourself for a super long, worthwhile walk. A little piece of advice: take a map, choose one of the route options and follow it all the way. You won't miss a thing. We went in the spring and...More

Rent a bike if you can or a golf cart (electronic car in the words of the french). Reserve the bike in advance if you can. The gardens are so vast and one can’t explore its entire beauty on foot in one day.

The gardens are incredible. You can walk them for free. Start from the outside near the Trianon Waldorf Hilton. It's a beautiful and peaceful walk especially in the morning. If I knew where to rent a bike that would be better. But Le Jardin and...More

The gardens were spacious and were beautiful to walk through. The maze of hedges was amazing, as well as the statues and many fountains. I found the construction in the gardens a little disruptive. Otherwise, it was not really a nuisance. Certainly a place to...More

Yes! They are golf carts 34 euro for 1 hour and 8 euro for every 15 minutes after. Great save for the legs.

Quite possible. I went on a Sunday. It wasn't overly crowded but the weather wasn't the best either. I think the nicer the weather the busier it will be.
