After the crowded palace, take time to walk the gardens and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. There are several restaurants in the garden too!

Versailles Gardens are exquisite even when the August heat has dimmed the flowers color. The gardens are much less crowded than the buildings and make for a beautiful stroll

This place is very beautiful. I can only imagine what it looks like in the Spring. You could spend days just walking through the gardens.

Spend hours in amazement of this wonderful garden. Beautiful manicured gardens, sit and chill, wander aimlessly around. Quite busy but still a nice place to go

We went in June and it was not crowded at that time. You can enter the gardens at no charge. We went just to go to the gardens one evening...... we through an entrance called the Queens Gate.
