I enjoyed the individual mineral displays. Many of which are very large. That said, it is not a very large galleria. It is actually a short visit. Expensive for that.

Being here made me so happy, I love crystals and these were magical massive chunks. Learnt lots and saw so many unusual forms. Small selection but huge on impact.

Yes it is true that everything is in French, but many of the names of the exhibits translate directly anyway. I was very impressed by the size of the quartz stones, but also the intricate smaller rarer ones, the display of those used as pigments...More

The ticket seems expensive compared to the size of the gallery. Very disappointing that there isn’t any English translation. Even the multimedia is in French only.

While it is frustrating to know that most of the collection hides behind closed doors, this gallery is indeed nice to visit, and includes huge crystals and meteorites.

Full disclosure: we love rocks and gems. So the prospect of a geologic museum in the middle of the beautiful city was a treat. It's small, but has great displays, some really big pieces, and is next to all the other science museums and the...More

When I finally managed to be here during opening hours, I was delighted, éclatée, wowed by the collection, the displays, and the information available. If you have any interest in minerals, geology, the planet, pigments, sculpture, gems or light, you'll find something of interest here....More

This venue is part of the Museum of Natural History inside Le Jardin des Plantes. Cost was 6 Euro. It looked like it was under renovation, but the modest sized area that was open to visitors was nice and worth a look. They had a...More
