This wall/sculpture is set in a very pretty square on Montmartre. The art is pleasant and interesting but the neighborhood is extraordinary and worth exploring with a guide book.

The statue is really nice to see and picture؛ we have enjoyed having pictures there while we were wandering in the lovely district of Montmartre.

Spotted this in Montmartre where we are staying and thought we would take a detour from our walk to Sacre Coeur to check this out. It’s ok but not worth the extra walk.

Le Passe-Muraille (The passer-through-walls) is a French short story published by Marcel Aymé in 1943. It ends with the lead character getting stuck in a wall. This mural is a representation of that. The sculpture is based on the character and was made by Jean...More

It's a nice statue but nothing historical there. You should go to the mill "Moulin de la galette" more far, witness of "Belle Epoque"

A man coming out of a wall, it is indeed a curious art piece and the object of many photographers. In the middle of one of Paris' most charming neighborhoods, perfect for a walking tour.

I mean the sculpture is ok I guess its nice and interesting and also unconventional, I get it, and I do love art, but you have to climb lots and lots of stairs and uphill streets to get there and it is just a sculpture,...More

Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
