Great Shopping Experience

I shopped here in June 2016. Went there to buy 1 or 2 outfits but ended up buying 7 pants and 3 tops and some unique cutlery. I travel a lot but this is the first store that... read more

If you can afford all the brands this is the place for you. Personally I can't but I still like to stroll around and have a look. The place is very big and if you are a shopaholic prepare to spend an afternoon there. The departments are separated into different buildings (femme and homme).

I shopped here in June 2016. Went there to buy 1 or 2 outfits but ended up buying 7 pants and 3 tops and some unique cutlery. I travel a lot but this is the first store that showed me how to get the taxes back at the airport. The sales associate asked me if I want to get the... More

Departmental store located downtown, in the middle of Paris. Enough big but just right as you can find anything you need. It has been totally renovated and provide an easy access to disabled people with large elevator. You can find there anything you need, from clothes to home Equipment, including a huge level of DIY products for home improvement. It... More

This is a fantastic place to browse, and find gifts for people at home(or yourself). Lovely displays, helpful staff, and very unique items. I could spend the whole day shopping here! There is a discount for foreign travelers, if you have your passport. The stationary department is wonderful, as is housewares, as is accessories.

You will find almost anything here. It's a giant store with lots and lots of things to see and buy, and reasonable prices. If you have time to spare, pay them a visit.

Just have to go back there time and time again. They have unique everything, at great prices. Bought THE most amazing vase that did cost 32euro which is approximately AU$42. So much more interesting pieces of every variation, it is my go to store, when in Paris.

My go-to shopping spot during annual stays in Marais. Conveniently located across from Hotel de Ville, the BHV has it all! Accessed metro, bought lightbulb in "Home Depot" basement; belt, coat, top, shoes for me; jacket and razor for my husband; card, book, gift. Snack and lunch (Starbucks, other). Bring your foreign passport for 10% discount.

After checking out all the other large department stores in Paris, I preferred Le BHV due to the layout, fashion brands (high end and more affordable), range of items and the staff. The staff were much more approachable and willing to help you. Also the 10% discount on nearly everything for visitors was a bonus! Make sure you bring your... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
