Famous for bio products, this is my favorite among Paris' outdoor markets. It's huge and one can find just about any food product. The beautiful display of fish made me cry with delight.

Thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this awesome market. Definitely worth a visit, as it has something for everyone. I'd recommend this market for families, as well as friends and if you travel alone. It's terrific!

A great food market that saved our butts: due to some issues with money owed to me by my clients, we arrived in Paris on a very tight budget. We were staying in the wonderful apartment of a friend-of-a-friend nearby and someone said we MUST...More

I loved visiting this market twice on my recent stay at the Citadines opposite. We bought the triple creme cheese and some home made fois gras and had a picnic with one of baguettes. Delicious. I bought my daughter a couple of smocked dresses there....More

Three lanes of food, souvenirs, clothes, music, and much more. We went around noon on a Sunday and the place was packed and lively. Vendors tolerated my terrible French with a smile. I got cheese, wine, bread, and sausages.

I'm from Oregon, so rain doesn't stop me, but the stalls do shed a lot of rain that will hit those walking between them, so if it's raining, be prepared for a soaking. In return you'll be rewarded with fresh cheese and veggies and some...More

We stumbled upon this market while strolling near our Air BnB apartment. It's huge! And colourful, full of locals, reasonable prices for Paris. Even if you don't buy fruit, veg, meat, cheese, flowers, souvenirs or clothes, it's fun just to people watch. There's also food...More

Again, we have lived in Paris years ago and visited at least annually for many years and this is the first time we have been to this market. We usually have stayed closer to St. German, the islands, or the 7th and have gone to...More

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

According to the website I found in French (listing it as Marché Bastille), it's open Thursdays from 7am - 1:30pm and Sundays from 7am - 3pm.
What is the difference between this market and the Bastille Market? Isn't it just one long stretch of market stalls?

It is the same market. It goes by 2 names.
