Our alchemist Head Barman Maxime Hoerth, gives each cocktail an original signature, custom-made for our guests with precise measures and the ritual of a flawless execution. I'm not sure when it was that I fell in love with Bar du Bristol. Was it when the hotel was featured in one of my favourite movies "Midnight in Paris"? I really can't remember but I have been coming here for years, the last time being the summer of 2019. Covid put a stop to my twice yearly solo trips to Paris but when I finally decided to venture out again, Bar du Bristol was on my list.
I always find time to visit on a Friday night for an after dinner drink. Staff were helpful in suggesting a nice cocktail without ice and "Tom" was lovely. Snacks were replenished regularly but out of the blue, a staff member gave me two mini toasts of salmon pate with dill. I didn't order it and left it for a few minutes in the event that he made a mistake but....no mistake. That little amuse bouche was on the house. Wow! Cheers! Thanks Mate!
The DJ and music has changed. It used to be instrumental or jazz versions of popular songs now it is more of disco music which although is louder, is still at a level where guests can talk without shouting.

Wonderful venue, top rate staff from the on duty manager to the waiting staff. Drinks were good, we had cocktails. Music was fun, upbeat, you could almost dance if it would not spoil the ambience. Interesting clientele from younger to older couples, to the hybrids of aged men and significant (younger) others. Prices were reasonable, certainly for the venue, unless you know about spirits then at least for malt whisky they were taking the preverbial.

This is simply one of the best bars in Paris and the world. A first class experience in every way. Le Bristol has been one of my go-to bars in Paris for years. The atmosphere is special. The drinks exquisite and the staff attentive without being intrusive. Not cheap but worth every cent. The bar does get busy so I like to get there early to ensure we get a seat. There is a food bar menu which is always delicious. My helpful hint is don’t wait for a special occasion. Treat yourself and visit soon. They have recently re-introduced the ‘Chilli Chilli Bang Bang’ cocktail, albeit with a pineapple rather than a capsicum flavour, and it is superb and my favourite. Enjoy! Highly recommended.

I am just waiting for the day where the french hospitality becomes a ‘Hospitality’.
Thé amour of racism and hate us unbelievable for an establishment like the Bristol , I decided to have my drinks in the bar yesterday where I get chocked with the treatment of this men that was quiet in his 50s or older saying you should be on list and when I asked for explanation he did not even bother him to self to be nice or act how he should be in such a position.
We choose you to spend our time in your place and to spend our money which is the benefit of the bar as a business but sadly I will never tolerate once more this hateful behaviour I have been in many countries and many European countries just Switzerland that is stick to France and I have seen much more honorable treatment that the one I faced in the Bristol.
I hope you can one day admit that is has to stop and to see that foreigners are a part of your tourism.

I am really extremely sorry for the bad experience you received at the Bristol bar. we have to explain much better to our customers who show up that the bar is private and accessible only via an invitation list and this every Thursday, Friday and Saturday a reminder to our team has already been made
Le Bristol welcomes international customers and that for almost 100 years our daily concern is that this clientele feels at home even far from home.

Of course, the welcome is that of a palace: perfect. Of course, the setting is beautiful. Of course, it's very expensive but we know that. However, at this price level, the wine list by the glass is ultimately very average. Chablis correct, Sancerre which defends itself but nothing more. The wines would have to justify their prices to return there.

What a great way to ring in the New Year! Our friends were staying there so they invited us for Pre-Dinner drinks. I can’t say enough about the staff at the hotel itself (Ryne and I were greeted so warmly by one of the attendants at reception who escorted us to the Bar) and the Bar staff. The bar was lively and the drinks were great - we also had some snacks.
We left for dinner and returned after midnight for Le Bristol after dark! We danced and drank and were out til 4!
Our friends also raved about the hotel stay itself. Will have to check it out next time we are in Paris!

Brilliant return to Le Bar du Bristol. Classic spot in a classic hotel. Lively scene, solid cocktails, and on my most recent visit, I was introduced to a delightful digestif called Suédois Dolin. Also had an Old Fashioned - a top quaff. Bristol After Dark is great fun as well; everything will be purple-tinted when you leave.
Give it a go - you’ll enjoy it. If you see Socrate on the way in, say hi for me.

This place is super fab!! I live in NYC and this place is a must see in Paris!! The staff is on point and amazing. The DJ was playing great music to go with the ambiance which is sexy, trendy, and fabulous. One particular staff member who is the bar manager (Edgar) stands out. He was very friendly and will make you feel right at home.

A visit to Paris is not complete without a drink at the magnificent bar in the Bristol hotel. The ambiance is gorgeous and reminds me of the Rose Bar in NYC @ the Gramercy Park Hotel (one of my favorite spots). The staff is on point and amazing. The DJ was playing great music to go with the ambiance which is sexy, trendy, and fabulous. One particular staff member who is the bar manager (Edgar) stands out. He was not only charming but knowledgeable and guided us through our champagne and drink choices. After a great night at the bar we decided it would be the best spot to spend our NYE. We asked Edgar to reserve us a table and the staff took great care of us. The night was fabulous and a perfect way to ring in the New Year. The bar is top notch and really made our stay perfect.

Without a doubt, this is my most favourite bar in the world. Superbly managed by Thierry and the team. Relaxed atmosphere, comfortable chairs, appropriate scened music, first class cocktails. You know you are in a first class establishment when they serve nibbles with your cocktail (olives, almonds and a few other surprises.) Interesting range of cocktails but remember the bartender is happy to create any cocktail for you. There is a small tapas style menu to order from. Fairly quiet up until about 7pm but then starts to fill quickly. Highly recommended. I know I will return!

D après Les photos le bar à l air très cosy mais pas très branché.
Je recherche un lieu sympa, branché, et chic mais pas une ambiance boîte de nuit, pour fêter un anniversaire entre filles,

Je vous conseille le bar du Ritz pas le première en rentrant mais le bar Hemingway très branché pensez à réserver car toujours complet ou bien le bar du Mandarin Oriental

Bonjour, comment devient le volume sonore le samedi soir lorsqu'il y a un DJ? Peut-on encore siropter son cocktail et discuter tranquillement entre amis, la musique demeurant une musique d'ambiance?... ou le lieu se rapproche-t-il davantage d'une boîte de nuit où la musique devient centrale et où il faut hausser la voix pour se faire entendre de ses compagnons de soirée? Merci

Je n'ai aucun souvenir de musique trop forte au Bristol, et pour avoir été dans d'autres bars d’hôtels similaires avec DJ, on est loin d'être en boite de nuit ! On peut heureusement s'entendre sans élever la voix.
