This place may be the site of the old Court de Miracles, where beggars ended their day in the Middle Ages. It's also next to the strange Passage du Caire. Experience very old Paris. Now one of the centers of the fabric trade.

This is within the old city walls and is one of the oldest parts of Paris, built over a couple of times. Now the center of the fabric and fashion trade, but this may be changing as the cool people move in.

I believe that this is the oldest passage in Paris. It is very narrow and when we visited the roof was being repaired and it was very dark. The shops are very down market.
