Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very upper class area of Paris. Lots of lovely apartment buildings, some streets of pretty little houses, some spectacular 20th Century architecture. And there is the life of people who live here, like cafes and markets. No office buildings, few tourist attractions.

Wonderful little park. Pleasant both for a walk alone or with the family, sporting activities, but also picnics. Also a very bourgeois area

Lovely, area to walk- we stayed in the Hotel Nicolo, near Passy which introduced us to the area - close to station and easy access to everywhere in Paris - not as many tourists as other area -

We come to this neighborhood to visit our cousins. But one could also do a great architectural walking tour here as there are some excellent examples of fancy apartment design. Upscale, fairly quiet, not a lot for tourists, but fun to explore.

I grew up here, as my grandmother had a house in the area. Whenever I’m in Paris I drop by to just take it all in and walk around the streets I know so well. A lot has changed but also much has not. There is great shopping to be had here and also some lovely little cafes and restaurants. It’s close to two metro stations and a short stroll from the Eiffel Tower.

This is one of the areas where the upper class have long claimed as their own. So the apartment buildings and the commerce are in great condition, no rough edges. Still you can turn a corner a feel as though you are in a village. A lovely part of Paris, quite old in its way.

Do some research and find the cute little village areas of this upper income part of town. There are also some huge impressive old apartment buildings and great views of the Seine. Not very interesting for shopping or eating.

This has always been a substantial neighborhood, at first the location of small houses with gardens, now full of elegant buildings with large apartments. Lots of good restaurants here. Some charming streets. Good shopping. Few tourists.

I'm lucky to have been able to call this home while growing up, as my grandmother had a house here. She's sadly no longer with us but the house still stands and so every time that I'm in Paris, I come to Passy to just walk around, grab a coffee/lunch and just remember the good times.

It's a very upmarket area, with many shops, cafes and restaurants. The casino shopping centre has lots of shops inside and a great supermarket in the basement.

There are two metros - Passy and La Muette and both are convenient to get to and serve different lines.

It's a fantastic area and I always love coming back here, as it makes me feel close to my grandmother.
