The London station was great, eurostar ride was fantastic. The Gare du Nord was horrible. We were literally attacked by beggars and pickpockets when trying to buy train tickets. They are touching you, talking to you, trying to "help" you. In reality, no one there...More

The station turned out to be easier to navigate than expected. So was getting into a taxi. What could be improved vis-a-vis the Eurostar experience is the area post immigration. There could be more eating options.

Very poor directions to Eurostar, only bilingual sign we could find to indicate where to get connection was out of sight on top floor. Monitor indicating departures were out of order and we had a suspicious guy following us around for a good ten minutes,...More

We came from La Chappelle metro via the pedestrian link into the station and struggled to find any indication of where Eurostar was located - absolutely nothing until you are practically next to it - we also needed our metro tickets to get through a...More

Talk about a busy station! Clearly what they say about Gare du Nord being one of the most bustling transport hubs is true. However, I think for the vastness of the station and the amount of commuters passing through on a daily basis, there needs...More

Eurostar is rip-off central, from the station in London - money changers who refuse to change smaller notes and lack of announcement information, to the taxi drivers at the other end in Paris who lie in order to take your euros from you - no,...More

If you are taking the Eurostar you need at least 2 hours. You have to go through French immigration, then British immigration, then bag and body scanning.
