There were signs but they pointed diferente ways! Good thing e arrived at the gare a good 2 hours ahead of our train departure time! The toilets are... More

Took the train from the airport to Gard du Nord station, and was transferring to the #5 orange to the Bastille area when my wife and I were surged boarding the train by 4 young females who boarded as the alarm went for the doors to close. I was propelled towards the middle of the car, at the same time... More

The station is very busy which is to be expected, but it really needs a update, almost no seating in the main station and very limited places to get a coffee or a snack, and what is there is so over priced.

After travelling from St. Pancras station, I expected the same from Gare du Nord station but that was not the case, it is a long walk from the train, the station looked depressing, it was full of beggars and people asking if we wanted a taxi and I did not notice the shops because I just wanted to get out... Literally a terrible train station. One of the worst I've been to in Europe. Nothing is labeled well, it is freezing cold inside and there is no where to sit if you're taking the Eurostar, plus if a train is delayed there is just a crush of people. Be warned.

This is a very busy station for local and international rail and Paris Metro lines. It can be a little confusing owing to its large size. When we left Paris we took the Eurostar train from here to the stunning St. Pancras Station, London. The Gare du Nord Eurostar departure area is up an escalator and separated from the rest... More

It's a train station, in France, what do you expect? Yes it could be cleaner, but there are a selection of restaurants and shops, and for traveling in Europe the trains are hard to beat.

If you have seen movies like "Ocean's Twelve" and "Bourne Identity" then you will recognize the majesty and grandeur of Gare du Nord. I'm jealous of Parisian commuters who gets to arrive and depart from this amazing monument every day. You can arrive by Metro to see the station or if you take the express train from CDG, you will... Beware of the men waiting outside the taxi line. They will give you false information and try to lure you into a much more expensive private "taxi", which they will claim is cheaper. They are all dressed up in nice suits with lanyards and appear to work for the station, but they do not. What's worse is that there is... More

Bravo to the Gare du Nord staff who helped us navigate the customs procedures with our group. We arrived 90 mins prior to our train departure time and were glad. This helped to avoid the stress of rushing.
