We traveled on the Eurostar from London to Paris and then back to London on the same day. On the return trip, our friends' train ran an hour and a half late and ours about an hour and 15 minutes late. We were on the...More

Ok it was the French rail strike and our train from Paris to Zurich had been cancelled but we had managed to book another later train. The metro train from Gare du Nord to Gare du Lyon had also been cancelled and we were struggling...More

My mother, daughter and I experienced a distressing 2 hour wait, standing the whole time, with the worry of whether we’d actually make it to our train, despite being very early to board! The slick, efficient London organisation was long forgotten as we waited with...More

Last week traveled from St. Pancras to Gare du Nord and had no issues like others described. We even ate at a restaurant right outside Gare du Nord - I'm from NY so maybe that's why the area didn't really seem too seedy to me!...More

Nightmare journey from gate du Nord back to St Pancras. No organisation at the station. 100+ people required to queue on double staircase, talk about health and safety-an accident waiting to happen. No real queuing system once that had started, more like a free for...More

There were 200 of us waiting in the taxi line. Mini van taxis kept showing up and security kept ushering groups of 3 or more right into them. The rest of us were there an hour without any taxis showing up. From working in Paris...More

We had a 12:13 Eurostar to London. The day before Eurostar cancelled multiple trains to London, so we were worried it would spill over to our departure day. I checked train schedules on morning of departures and 2 more trains to London were cancelled, but...More

I was there about an hour earlier. Any way the immigration for each train opens only an hour earlier. One has to wait till then.
