A beautiful stage complemented with a casual beer-serving bar and casual patrons with sharp ears and tight lips when the performance starts. Fado may not be my favorite genre, but it withdraws nothing from the overall experience and standard of the venue. I'll come back for sure.

Come early, cos they start really on time. I like that. There are seats, not numbered , you can stand in the front as well. The bar is upstairs, you can follow The show from there, but sometimes the noise from up there disturbs the show during a silent song. Reasonable (for Paris) prices, for the shows and for drinks... More

My daughter and I went to see Ben Gibbard at this venue in early December2012. My daughter is a Death Cab for Cutie tragic so she couldn't have asked for too much more. We were lucky enough to see Gaz Coobes from Supergrass and Hot Rats, during our stay and what a fantastic venue. Tiny, holds maybe 2-3 hundred with perfect sightlines and acoustics from everywhere. The Café de la danse is a small venue for bands. If you're lucky enough for your favourite artiste to apear at the Café then you WILL get a good view - even if you're at the back you're still near the front. Like I said - it's not a big place.
