Marché des Enfants Rouges is worth a visit for two reasons: 1) History - it is the oldest covered market in Paris, dating to 1628; 2) wonderful stands from which to buy food to take back to your apartment, if you are renting in the...More

I was staying right beside this little market so it was very handy to visit. I had read about it prior to our trip and thought it sounded wonderful. It is much smaller than I imagined so maybe I would have been disappointed if I...More

Small market for the locals- basic and with seating to eat but dint expect a huge market. Basics include meat, fish, bread, cheese, flowers, wine and cooked hot food.

This is a cute little market and worth a glance with lots of options for lunch... HOWEVER... I would absolutely recommend that you avoid the Lebanese restaurant!!! The guy behind the counter might actually be the grumpiest person in all of Paris (which is no...More

Amazing little hidden market where you can find affordable lunch. The market itself is quite nice with natural produce, and lots of cuisine to chose from

It is maybe not worthy if it is your first time in Paris and you don't have much time. Otherwise is nice to visit at lunch time. Good atmosphere

Great place to wander around and grab a bite to eat but be warned, the market is small and it gets extremely busy. Very good Moroccan food and the restaurant in the back - L'estaminet is very good.

I don't know but I was there on Christmas Day and it was open but only a couple of stalls were active. I would think it will be more likely to have more stalls open on New Years Day than Christmas but I am not sure.

Hi, my wife and I are planning a trip to Paris for February 2016. We last visited the Marche des Enfants Rouges in August 2015, and were wondering is the market open in February?
